Maureen Namwali

Dedicated to Thyolo's Future

Honorable Maureen Namwali is the current Member of Parliament for Thyolo-Goliati Constituency. Born on March 8, 1975, in Thyolo district, she has dedicated her life to serving her community through education, healthcare, and agricultural development initiatives.

Hon. Namwali has served in various departments, including ADMARC, MEC, and commercial farming at Namwali Farm.

Inspired by her late parents charity works within the community, Hon Namwali ventured into politics to prove that a woman can succeed as a Member of Parliament and motivate other women. With over 15 years of experience in community leadership and public service, she brings a unique understanding of Thyolo-Goliati constituency challenges and opportunities.
