Hon. Maureen Namwali Urges Support for APM to achieve DPP manifesto

Thyolo-Goliati MP Hon. Maureen Namwali opened her speech at the Thyolo District DPP women's mega thank you prayers and conference at Thyolo Secondary School Hall with a praise and worship song, "Ndine ndani pa maso pa Ambuye". Honorable Maureen Namwali thanked God for life and the occasion, saying women were praising, praying, and dancing in Christ to celebrate DPP's victory. Hon. Namwali thanked women for registering and voting for President Proffesor Authur Peter Mutharika and Thyolo women MPs, marking progress in the country's delivery from challenges. Thyolo-Goliati MP further thanked God for good rainfall and requested timely fertilizer delivery to areas yet to access it, urging women to utilize it in their farms. Minister of Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare Hon Mary Thom Navicha highlighted the government's 100 million kwacha annual allocation for women in every constituency for loans, aiming to boost their economic status and start businesses. DPP women's southern region director Hon Maria Mainja wished women a merry Christmas, echoed Hon Namwali's call for huge  votes for DPP during elections and requested maize distribution before harvest to address food shortages. Thyolo Thava MP Mavuto Sandra Scott, representing male MPs, in the district encouraged DPP women to serve the party and rely on God. Pastor Makawa led prayers for President Arthur Peter Mutharika, his wife Gertrude Mutharika, Vice President Justice Dr Jane Ansa, good rainfall, wealth, good governance, and security. Favoured Martha and Chaoni choir performed.
